Give Her Away

I wrote Give Her Away for my daughter on her wedding day, hoping we could share it as our father–daughter dance.

As a divorced father, I didn’t get to spend as much time with her as I would have loved. This song gave me a way to express my love for her, my regret for the time we missed, and my hopes for her happiness as she began married life.

It’s a personal message from a father to his daughter, saying through music how much she means to me.
